Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, is an all-in-one alternative to original Medicare.
These plans are offered by private insurance companies that are approved by Medicare. Medicare Advantage plans typically include Part A, Part B, and often Part D, along with additional benefits like dental, vision, and hearing coverage. Some plans based on your area and current medical conditions could include Over-The-Counter (OTC), Fitness Membership, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Resource For Living (Grocery & Utilities Assistance, and Transportation).
Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) is extra insurance you can buy from a private insurance company to help pay your share of out-of-pocket costs in Original Medicare. You can only buy Medigap if you have Original Medicare. Generally, that means you have to sign up for Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) before you can buy a Medigap policy. All Medigap policies are standardized. This means, policies with the same letter offer the same basic benefits no matter where you live or which insurance company you buy the policy from. There are 10 different types of Medigap plans offered in most states, which are named by letters: A-D, F, G, and K-N. Price is the only difference between plans with the same letter that different insurance companies sell.

Final expense insurance is a whole life insurance policy that has a small death benefit and is easy to get approved for. Final expense insurance is also called funeral insurance, burial insurance, simplified issue whole life insurance, or modified whole life insurance. Final expense insurance has a death benefit designed to cover expenses such as a funeral or memorial service, embalming and a casket, or cremation.
When you apply for final expense insurance, you will not have to deal with a medical exam or let the insurance company access your medical records. However, you will have to answer some health questions. Because of the health questions, not everyone will qualify for a policy with coverage that begins on day one.
